Hexagon Group is delighted to be supporting a leading property management company in the appointment of a Facilities Manager to oversee a high-end residential portfolio in West London on behalf of a prestigious real estate owner. The business has an excellent reputation within the market, underpinned by strong leadership and a high staff retention rate. For this role, you will be rewarded with a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day facilities management of a portfolio of residential buildings, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, safety, and resident experience are consistently achieved.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual, statutory, and client expectations.
  • Maintain asset registers, coordinate statutory inspections, oversee security and access control systems, and ensure risk assessments and action plans are implemented effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all facilities-related matters, liaising closely with the client.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor cleanliness, identify defects within communal areas, and coordinate remedial works where necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, maintain accurate compliance records, report incidents or near misses, and support the preparation and management of service charge budgets.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar Facilities Manager role within a residential environment, with a strong understanding of health and safety compliance and a minimum of an IOSH qualification.
  • A solid working knowledge of building services and experience managing service charge budgets will be advantageous.
  • A personable and professional approach is essential, as the role involves regular interaction with high-profile residents and a demanding client.
