Responsibilities
- To manage the legal entity of UK, to meet all statutory requirements, to meet strategic and annual business plans, to represent the company internally and externally as the official representative, and to push sales activities actively together with the sales team.
- To actively manage the SI P&L in order to meet or exceed all financial targets, manage the business expenses budget, and provide business operations support services in line with the budget and the needs of the business.
- To provide SI leadership within the Region, act as the customer’s senior management point of contact, and serve as the final escalation point for the resolution of issues.
- To define and execute strategic and annual business plans for the Region, in line with the EMEA Regional Strategies, and to grow revenue and operating income.
- To develop and manage a professional and effective sales team capable of delivering annual sales targets, finding new business, and building long‑term and strategic relationships and partnerships with customers. Act as an active Sales Lead.
- To develop and manage a professional and effective pre‑sales and post‑sales application support organization capable of supporting business objectives in order to deliver cost‑effective and profitable consultancy, maintenance, and project management services, improve cooperation between verticals, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- To ensure that appropriate business operations processes are in place to enable business objectives to be met and to comply with both Corporate and statutory requirements.
- To assist with gathering marketing requirements for the Region, ensuring that the appropriate services are available to plan and support sales activities.
- To manage and motivate staff through quality performance management, counselling and career development to meet business need and individual aspirations.
- To be an active participant in the EMEA senior management team, working closely with peers in other business units and functions to develop business strategy and ensure cross‑company communications, to achieve company goals, harness resources and avoid duplication.
- To promote and market SI systems, products and solutions at the highest levels within customers and prospects.
- To represent the company both internally and externally as the official representative of SI.
- To manage the SI legal entity and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements.
- Report to the EMEA Senior VP and communicate with the Industry Directors as required.
Education / Qualifications
- Must have strong business acumen, including financial qualifications or training, with an excellent understanding of budgeting and financial planning. General technical awareness will be an advantage.
- Requires a strong understanding of how our business operates and successful candidates will have a proven track record demonstrating their understanding and business acumen.
- Must have a solid background and understanding of our customers industries. Preferable in the Public Safety area or alternatively in Utilities & Telecommunication.
- General management experience is essential for working in this job.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people‑management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to travel locally but also from time to time within EMEA.
- A full clean driving licence.
