Salary: £14 ph

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hexagon Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Wood Machinist / Saw Operative to join a busy fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with the potential for a permanent position.

Main Duties:

  • Operating saws and woodworking machinery
  • Building and fabricating products to required specifications
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Using appropriate PPE during all tasks
  • Maintaining high quality and productivity standards
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting production issues
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working closely with team leaders, managers and other departments

Requirements:

  • Experience operating saws or woodworking machinery preferred
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
  • Strong awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment
  • Ability to work well within a team
