We are recruiting for the Permanent Position of a Field Engineer. Our client is an international company that manufactures and installs bespoke automated cutting-edge machines in manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe, and around the world.

Basic Salary from £44,000 to £45,000 plus overtime pay, company car, pension, 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, and benefits package.

Our client is looking for a Field Engineer to join their UK team and requires the following skills:

  • Electrical biased with some mechanical experience
  • HND or HNC qualified
  • Apprentice trained
  • Ability to read planned machine drawings
  • Experience with PLC's and machine automation control systems
  • Proven experience with fault finding, servicing, and machine installation skills
  • Confident working with complex automated machinery
  • Confident in working alone or as part of a team
  • Able to work with customers and complete technical reports and documentation
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home for services, new machine installations, or training on new machines
  • Hold a full UK driving license
