Hexagon Recruitment is on the hunt for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in the Widnes (WA8) area, running Artic Walking Floor trailers. This is a role with a well-established company, offering steady full-time hours, plenty of overtime, and genuine room to progress.
The role:
- Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles with Artic Walking Floor trailers
- Carrying out collections and deliveries safely and on time
- Daily vehicle checks, with any defects reported promptly
- Keeping digital tachograph records accurate and up to date
- Working within Driver Hours and Working Time regulations
- Representing the company well at every collection and delivery point
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Extra shifts and overtime available for those who want them.
Pay: £15.26 per hour basic. Overtime beyond 40 hours at 1.25x, Saturdays at 1.5x, Bank Holidays at 2x.
What you'll need:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
