We are recruiting for the Permanent Position of a Field Engineer. Our client is an international company that manufactures and installs bespoke automated cutting-edge machines in manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe, and around the world.
Basic Salary from £44,000 to £45,000 plus overtime pay, company car, pension, 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, and benefits package.
Our client is looking for a Field Engineer to join their UK team and requires the following skills:
- Electrical biased with some mechanical experience
- HND or HNC qualified
- Apprentice trained
- Ability to read planned machine drawings
- Experience with PLCs and machine automation control systems
- Proven experience with fault finding, servicing, and machine installation skills
- Confident working with complex automated machinery
- Confident in working alone or as part of a team
- Able to work with customers and complete technical reports and documentation
- Be able to travel and stay away from home for services, new machine installations, or training on new machines
- Hold a full UK driving license
