Salary: £26,775 per annum

Hours: 3-shift rota – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Hexagon Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business in the Rhyl area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment to secure a full-time, long-term position within a modern and growing business.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting production targets, and ensuring equipment is run safely and effectively.

What you’ll be doing

  • Setting up and operating production machinery in line with manufacturing specifications.
  • Loading materials and monitoring machine performance during production runs.
  • Carrying out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Identifying and reporting faults, with basic troubleshooting where appropriate.
  • Accurately completing production and quality documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Working closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Essential experience

  • Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Good understanding of production processes and machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot quality issues.
  • Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills.
  • Aware of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Please note: This role is suited to candidates who already have hands-on machine operating experience. If you have not worked as a Machine Operator before, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.
