We are recruiting a Permanent Position of an Electrical/Mechanical Field Engineer for our client, an internationally based company that manufactures and installs bespoke automated cutting edge machines in manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe, and around the world.

Key Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Salary from 44,000 to 60,000 with overtime pay

Responsibilities

  • Work split 70% Electrical / 30% Mechanical
  • Read planned machine drawings
  • Experience working with PLCs and machine automation control systems
  • Fault finding, servicing, and machine installation
  • Contribute to complex automated machinery projects, working alone or as part of a team on new machine installs
  • Work with customers and complete technical reports & documentation
  • Travel for services and new machine installations, or for training on new machine upgrades, and be able to stay away from home as required

Qualifications

  • Electrical bias with some mechanical experience
  • HND or HNC qualified or equivalent
  • Apprentice trained

Preferred/Additional Skills

  • Experience with thermal heat type systems
  • Confidence working with complex automated machinery
  • Full UK driving licence
