Hexagon Recruitment are looking for an import operator that will be responsible for handling groupage containers from all around the world. Main tasks are as follows; – Working with overseas offices to ensure shipments are co-ordinated correctly – Arranging for the containers to be unstuffed on arrival to the UK, working with our warehouse suppliers across all regions – Speaking to customers which range from forwarders to personal individuals to co-ordinate their arrival of the cargo and making sure that all procedures are in place to get their shipments released / delivered to them at the earliest chance. – Customs. Taking care of necessary customs arrangements to clear cargo with our customs teams and ensure any local fees are collected – Transport. Arranging deliveries all over the UK and Ireland – Strong customer service focus is a must, with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely across all elements of the roll
