Hexagon Recruitment are seeking a Freight Operations individual to join the team at one of our most prestigious clients based in Dartford, Essex. Please ensure you possess the required skills necessary for this role before submission. Background/skills needed: Providing a high level of customer service Completing customs entries for air exports/ imports Monitoring of urgent AOG/Ship Spares updates, resolve customer and supplier queries efficiently and adapt quickly to changing parameters of the shipment Strong knowledge of air & sea freight operations and documentation Excellent organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs Experience with AOG handling and time-critical shipments. Ship Spares shipment handling would be a bonus Arranging collection/delivery from/to vendors General Duties: Dealing with AOG/Ship Spares shipments start-finish Dealing with exports/imports/cross-trade shipments HM Customs entries Quoting customers Sending pre-alerts File creation from cradle to grave Responding to urgent queries and requests from customers for urgent shipments Handling key accounts
