Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Telehandler Operative to join a busy and well-established site in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing company following a successful temporary period.
Pay & Hours
- £14.64 per hour
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating weekly shifts:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Overtime available at weekends
- Additional weekday overtime may also be available
Duties Include
- Loading and unloading curtain-sided vehicles and containers
- Safe movement and storage of materials around site
- Stock rotation and stock control
- Carrying out daily equipment checks
- General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler in an industrial or warehouse environment
- A valid FLT licence and experience operating other plant machinery such as:
- Loading Shovel
- 360 Excavator
- Other plant equipment
- Alternatively, candidates with recognised plant machinery licences will also be considered if they do not currently hold an FLT licence
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- The flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
- A reliable and positive attitude with a willingness to work overtime when required
