Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an Air Freight Export (&Sea) Operator for their well established forwarding company based in Liverpool City Centre.
Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage air freight export shipments according to customer needs, including booking shipments and preparing necessary documentation like Airway Bills and Shippers\\\β Export Declarations.
- Customs Documentation: Prepare and submit customs documentation, including export declarations, export licenses, and other required paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Customer Service: Communicate with Control Towers to provide updates on shipment status, resolve any issues that arise, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and tracing data, and ensure all quality control procedures are followed.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any shipment irregularities or issues that may occur during the transportation process.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including customs regulations and export procedures.
Experience / Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have previous experience in air freight operations
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Export
- Previous experience of working with multi freight would be advantageous.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a natural and strong communicator with the ability to problem solve and adapt
