We are currently recruiting a Night Shift Transport Planner / Coordinator to join a well-established and growing operations team based near Heathrow Airport (LHR).

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a 24/7 operation, supporting time-critical international logistics. You will work at the heart of the night operation, bridging the gap between the day and night shifts, ensuring seamless handovers and service continuity.
About the Role
As a Night Shift Planner / Coordinator, you will:
* Oversee and manage the transport plan for the current night and following day
* Liaise closely with day shift planners, ensuring clear handovers and continuity of service
* React to real-time issues and make necessary amendments to the transport plan
* Communicate effectively with drivers, internal departments, customers, and global service partners
* Be the central point of contact for night operations, ensuring proactive decision-making and issue resolution
* Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two nights are the same
Key Requirements
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Sharp attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
* A calm, adaptable approach to high-pressure situations
* Proven experience working independently and within a team
* A solid understanding of UK transport legislation and driver hours
* Knowledge of UK and European geography
* Understanding of airfreight operations and multi-modal logistics
* IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Experience Needed
* Transport Planning: Minimum 2 years
* Air Cargo and HGV Driver Management: Minimum 2 years (preferred)
* EU to UK Customs / ETSF Procedures: Minimum 1 year
