We are growing and are looking for a Sales Compensation Expert (m/w/d) to join our team remotely within the EMEA region. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of sales compensation plans, managing claims, updating compensation data, and supporting quota setting and approvals. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including sales leadership, HR, and finance to ensure accurate and timely compensation processes.
Job Responsibilities
- As a key member of the Sales Operations team, you will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, HR, and Finance to ensure smooth and accurate administration of sales compensation processes across the EMEA region. Main responsibilities include:
- Managing daily sales compensation tasks such as processing claims related to salary changes, role adjustments, and variable pay components
- Maintaining and updating compensation data in the Xactly Incent platform, including issuing sales compensation letters and managing approval workflows
- Supporting quota setting by collecting and consolidating target breakdowns from global to regional and country levels
- Coordinating with vice presidents and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and approvals for compensation plans
- Providing training and support to employees and managers on the use of the Xactly platform and interpreting sales performance metrics
- Assisting in the implementation and continuous improvement of sales compensation processes and related projects, including claim management and approval systems
- Collaborating with internal teams such as HR Rewards and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Preparing regular reports and supporting ad hoc analysis related to sales compensation activities and performance tracking
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar sales administration or sales compensation role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula writing and data analysis
- Experience with sales compensation platforms, preferably Xactly Incent, is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage daily operational tasks independently
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Ability to provide training and support to employees and managers on sales compensation processes and systems
- Administrative mindset with a willingness to take ownership of operational tasks and support ongoing projects
