We are looking for a Sales Application Engineer to support our UK Stationary Metrology sales team with strong technical expertise and customer-focused solution design. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams and customers to deliver technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and tailored metrology solutions that support revenue growth. This is a hands‑on, customer-facing role ideal for someone with strong experience in PC-DMIS and CMM systems who enjoys combining technical knowledge with commercial impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with technical expertise on stationary metrology solutions
- Deliver customer demonstrations, measurement trials, and proof‑of‑concept projects
- Translate customer manufacturing and quality requirements into effective metrology solutions
- Support sales opportunities from early engagement through quotation and technical handover
- Participate in customer meetings and site visits together with the sales team
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within the Hexagon portfolio
- Support trade shows, open days, and customer events
- Collaborate with product, applications, and project teams to ensure successful solution delivery
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with PC‑DMIS in a production or customer‑facing environment
- Strong knowledge of CMM systems and coordinate metrology
- Experience delivering technical demonstrations or applications support
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD
