Application Engineer – ESPRIT (f/m/d)
We are seeking an Application Engineer – ESPRIT (f/m/d) to provide advanced technical support for our ESPRIT CAM software. In this role, you will collaborate closely with regional support teams and global partners, addressing complex escalated issues, driving product adoption, and strengthening the connection between support and development.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide second-level technical support for ESPRIT software and associated CAM solutions to Hexagon’s regional teams and partner network.
- Manage and resolve complex customer issues escalated by regional teams and partners.
- Investigate potential software bugs and enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with development teams to document, log, and track requests, ensuring clear and timely communication with end users.
- Deliver training and mentoring to regional teams and partners to enhance support quality for end users.
- Support the rollout of new product releases and software versions.
- Partner with product and regional support teams to create and promote self-service support tools, forums, and communities.
Qualifications
- Experience with ESPRIT CAM, Edgecam, or comparable CAM software.
- Strong understanding of complex machine tools and machining processes, particularly in high-precision production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and troubleshoot advanced technical issues, ideally in a global or multi-regional support context.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and upskill global teams.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving across diverse technologies and teams.
- Professional proficiency in English.
