The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

£36,471 – £40,525 (dependent on experience) plus Essential Car User Allowance

Overview

Hexagon is an innovative housing association working in partnership with local authorities across South East London. We provide affordable homes and services to over 4,000 residents and employ 120 staff. We are seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to deliver comprehensive neighbourhood management services to approximately 550 homes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver day‑to‑day neighbourhood management services to residents.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests, complaints and enquiries.
  • Coordinate maintenance and service calls in collaboration with our works teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and service outcomes.
  • Support residents with housing–related matters and community information.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in a front‑line customer service role, preferably in the housing sector.
  • Commitment to excellent standards of customer care.
  • Good IT and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills; ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines and targets.
  • Understanding of diversity issues, such as mental health, neurodiversity and other vulnerabilities, and commitment to equal opportunities.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingly undergo a DBS check; appointment contingent upon a satisfactory disclosure.
