Facilities Manager in Worthing

Hexagon Group has an exciting opportunity to work directly for a privately owned real estate investment and development company based close to Worthing. Our client is looking to appoint a Facilities Manager to join their in-house property management team, managing a mixed-use property portfolio across Chichester, Poole and Basingstoke. Your time will be split between working from the company's offices four days a week, with one day dedicated to carrying out site inspections. The salary for this role is up to £50,000, plus company benefits. The role will involve carrying out regular site inspections and liaising with tenants to resolve any issues that arise, while working closely with external contractors to ensure reactive and PPM works are carried out effectively. With support from the finance team, you will be responsible for the production and management of service charge budgets across the properties, alongside overseeing site health and safety and ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met. In addition, you will be responsible for managing fit-out projects and refurbishments, working closely with both internal and external teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively. You will ideally have several years' experience managing a mixed-use property portfolio on behalf of a managing agent or property investment company. As part of your experience, you will have previously set and managed service charge budgets, be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance, and have a strong knowledge of both hard and soft services. Furthermore, you will ideally hold an industry-recognised qualification such as an IOSH, NEBOSH or IWFM Certificate. Due to the requirement to travel between sites, you will also need to hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. Please apply with a copy of your CV
