Hexagon Group is delighted to be supporting a leading property management company in the appointment of a Facilities Manager to oversee a high-end residential portfolio in West London on behalf of a prestigious real estate owner. The business has an excellent reputation within the market, underpinned by strong leadership and a high staff retention rate.
For this role, you will be rewarded with a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus a generous benefits package. Working with an experienced Facilities & Property Management, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day facilities management of a portfolio of residential buildings, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, safety, and resident experience are consistently achieved.
This will include:
- Management of contractor performance
- Ensuring all services are delivered in line with contractual, statutory, and client expectations
- Maintaining asset registers
- Coordinating statutory inspections
- Overseeing security and access control systems
- Ensuring risk assessments and action plans are implemented effectively
You will act as the main point of contact for all facilities-related matters, liaising closely with the client, conducting regular site inspections to monitor cleanliness, identify defects within communal areas, and coordinate remedial works where necessary.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation
- Maintaining accurate compliance records
- Reporting incidents or near misses
- Supporting the preparation and management of service charge budgets
Applicants will ideally have proven experience in a similar Facilities Manager role within a residential environment, with a strong understanding of health and safety compliance and a minimum of an IOSH qualification. While formal hard services qualifications are not essential, a solid working knowledge of building services and experience managing service charge budgets will be advantageous. A personable and professional approach is essential, as the role involves regular interaction with high-profile residents and a demanding client.
