At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, we are seeking a Software Sales Manager to lead and coordinate software sales activities for our Portable Metrology portfolio across the EMEA region. Our software is used together with advanced portable measurement devices - such as 3D scanners, portable measuring arms, and laser trackers - that allow manufacturers to accurately measure, inspect, and verify physical parts directly on the shop floor or at customer sites. These solutions are commonly used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, heavy equipment, and many more. This role focuses on coordinating software sales activities, supporting regional sales teams, and helping ensure our software is consistently positioned, priced, and adopted alongside our hardware solutions across EMEA. Regular travel across the region will be required, with approximately 20% travel expected.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the complete software sales portfolio for our Portable Metrology solutions
- Drive the EMEA-wide strategy and execution plan for metrology software sales
- Coordinate with country sales teams to support opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and deal execution
- Develop and lead software-focused sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and strategic growth plans
- Help ensure software contracts, pricing, and maintenance programs are consistent and well-structured across the EMEA region
- Act as the central point of coordination between sales, application, software development, and support teams
- Enable and guide hardware sales teams on effectively positioning metrology software within customer workflows
- Provide pipeline visibility and support forecasting related to software sales activity across the region
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial software sales, preferably within metrology, quality, or measurement software
- Strong understanding of 3D metrology and quality software used in manufacturing and industrial environments
- Technical background or technical degree strongly preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders through clear communication and trusted relationships
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or any other CRM tool is advantageous
