Join Hexagon's Portable Metrology division at an exciting time of transformation. We are strengthening our product marketing capabilities and looking for someone who can bring strategic thinking, creativity and a strong business mindset to our international team.
In this role, you'll take ownership of product positioning, messaging and go-to-market initiatives for innovative industrial engineering and manufacturing solutions. Working closely with Product Management, Sales and Marketing, you'll help connect customer needs with business opportunities and drive measurable growth.
This is not a traditional content creation role. We're looking for someone who understands product marketing as a strategic discipline, can independently lead projects and enjoys collaborating across teams to make things happen.
Job Responsibilities
- Shape product strategy: Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, messaging frameworks and competitive differentiation.
- Drive go-to-market success: Lead product marketing initiatives, support product launches and contribute to integrated marketing and demand generation campaigns.
- Enable commercial success: Translate complex technical solutions into clear customer benefits and develop effective sales enablement strategies and materials.
- Lead cross-functional projects: Independently plan, prioritise and manage marketing projects, aligning stakeholders, timelines and resources.
- Connect marketing with business results: Use market insights, customer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate internationally: Partner with Product Management, Sales and regional marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective execution.
- Drive continuous improvement: Explore new approaches, including AI and digital tools, to improve marketing processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong understanding of product positioning, messaging frameworks and go-to-market strategies.
- Proven ability to independently develop and execute product marketing initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, stakeholder coordination, prioritisation and resource management.
- Familiarity with agile project management principles and structured project management methodologies.
- A strategic, commercially minded approach, with the ability to connect marketing activities to customer needs and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with business-fluent English.
- Experience working across international and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, organised and independent working style, combined with a collaborative and open mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B software, industrial technology, engineering or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with technical products and complex B2B buying environments.
- Experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.
- French or German language skills.
You don't need to be a metrology expert. What matters most is your product marketing expertise, curiosity about technology and willingness to learn.
