The Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the sales organization through strategic planning, operational efficiency, and data-driven insights. This role will work closely with sales leaders, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achieve revenue targets. This is a remote position in the United Kingdom.
What You'll Do
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Partner with sales leadership to develop and refine sales strategies. Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Operational Efficiency: Design and manage sales workflows, policies, and tools to enhance productivity. Ensure the CRM system (i.e. Salesforce) is used effectively and aligned with business needs.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales performance metrics and generate actionable insights. Create and maintain sales dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in sales processes and recommend improvements. Lead initiatives to automate and streamline sales operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation and qualification. Work with finance to track sales compensation and revenue recognition.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to the sales team on tools, policies, and processes. Act as the point of contact for resolving operational issues impacting the sales team.
What You'll Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a software/SaaS company. Proven track record of managing sales processes and tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs.
- Skills: Expertise in administration and management of Salesforce CRM. Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with software sales cycles, especially B2B or SaaS. Understanding of sales methodologies, sales progression & sales stages, and forecasting.
