Teconnex is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing activities at our Keighley manufacturing site. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Site General Manager, with a functional link to the Group Head of HSE. Our Keighley plant employs over 300 blue collar staff, we manufacture automotive and aerospace parts as well as innovative engineering designs and machinery. We have on site 7 ton pressing machines, rolling machinery, and robotics, so this role essentially requires a background of knowledge spent with a similar environment to ensure that we are all safe.
Youll champion a Zero Loss Safety Culture, ensure compliance with UK legislation, maintain ISO 14001, and play a central role in shaping our safety and wellbeing agenda across manufacturing and office operations.
What youll do:
- Lead site HSE management systems and regulatory compliance
- Drive proactive behavioural safety and safe systems of work
- Lead incident investigations, audits, and risk assessments
- Manage ISO 14001 and support ESG targets
- Deliver engaging safety training and communications
