UK Production Engineer | Advanced Manufacturing & Automation | Keighley, West Yorkshire
We're looking for a Production Engineer who wants to make an impact — not simply maintain the status quo.
TECONNEX is strengthening its UK Operations team in Keighley , and we're searching for an experienced engineer who can help shape the next generation of our manufacturing capability.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of Operations, with a clear mandate: make manufacturing safer, smarter, faster and more reliable.
You'll take ownership of existing manufacturing processes while identifying and delivering the improvements that move performance forward — from automation and lean manufacturing to digitalisation, advanced process control and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies.
The challenge
You'll be trusted to identify opportunities and turn them into measurable results across:
Automation & process engineering — robotics, vision systems, poka-yoke and automated inspection
Operational excellence — improving cycle times, yield, labour efficiency, capacity and equipment utilisation
Quality at source — engineering defects out of processes rather than relying on inspection to find them
Lean manufacturing — Lean/Six Sigma, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED and Kaizen
New Product Introduction — using PFMEA, Control Plans and DFM principles to deliver robust production launches
