Production Engineer Teconnex UK Keighley, England, United Kingdom (On-site) UK Production Engineer | Advanced Manufacturing & Automation | Keighley, West Yorkshire We're looking for a Production Engineer who wants to make an impact — not simply maintain the status quo. TECONNEX is strengthening its UK Operations team in Keighley , and we're searching for an experienced engineer who can help shape the next generation of our manufacturing capability. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of Operations, with a clear mandate: make manufacturing safer, smarter, faster and more reliable. You'll take ownership of existing manufacturing processes while identifying and delivering the improvements that move performance forward — from automation and lean manufacturing to digitalisation, advanced process control and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies. The challenge You'll be trusted to identify opportunities and turn them into measurable results across: Automation & process engineering — robotics, vision systems, poka-yoke and automated inspection Operational excellence — improving cycle times, yield, labour efficiency, capacity and equipment utilisation Quality at source — engineering defects out of processes rather than relying on inspection to find them Lean manufacturing — Lean/Six Sigma, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED and Kaizen New Product Introduction — using PFMEA, Control Plans and DFM principles to deliver robust production launches Who are we looking for? We're interested in speaking with Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineers who have built their careers in complex, high-volume, quality-critical manufacturing environments . You'll ideally bring strong experience in automation and continuous improvement, backed by practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and an ability to take projects from an idea through to implementation on the shop floor. Experience within Tier 1 Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing would be particularly valuable, as would exposure to IATF 16949 / AS9100 , robotics, vision systems, CNC machining, pressing, forming, rolling or welding. You should also be comfortable using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and have the confidence to work across Production, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Supply Chain, R&D and senior stakeholders A relevant engineering degree is preferred, although strong equivalent industry experience is equally important to us.
