We are looking for a pragmatic and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team in a hands-on generalist role supporting managers and employees across the business. You will provide professional HR advice, support employee relations matters and help ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.

This is a great opportunity for an HR Advisor or an HR Officer ready to step up, offering the chance to broaden your experience and develop your HR career within a supportive team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees
  • Support employee relations cases (absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance)
  • Manage operational HR activities including recruitment, HR data integrity, payroll support, and occupational health referrals
  • Produce monthly HR reports and support HR projects
  • Review HR policies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with managers, the HR team, and external partners
About You
  • Experience spent within HR advisory or HR assistant or generalist role, ideally spent within an industrial/manufacturing environment, working with both Blue and White collar staffing
  • Comfortable within a manufacturing setting and understands the culture and skills within Blue collar environments
  • Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential matters with professionalism
  • Seeking to develop further within HR - this may be a step up
  • CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable)
