Eminox is a leading designer and manufacturer of exhaust after-treatment and emissions control systems, supporting customers to meet the latest emissions legislation across on-road and off-road applications. Our solutions are supplied as original equipment, full retrofit systems, and aftermarket products. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to support and expand our presence across the UK emissions retrofit market.
This is a UK-wide, remote-based role, working closely with distributors, installers, OEMs and end users across:
- On-road retrofit (HGVs, buses, specialist vehicles)
- Rail
- Power generation
- Marine
The role will have a 50/50 split between managing existing customers and developing new business opportunities, with a strong focus on value-led selling and long-term customer relationships. You will act as the key interface between customers and the wider Eminox organisation, ensuring customer needs are understood and translated into commercially successful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales revenue and gross margin targets
- Manage and grow an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
- Develop new business opportunities across retrofit and applications-based projects
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while engaging with technical and operational teams
- Influence customer procurement and selection processes
- Identify customer needs and demonstrate clear commercial and technical value
- Lead customer business reviews, including forecasting, financial performance and action planning
- Identify and develop new value streams and market opportunities
- Act as an internal subject matter expert within allocated sectors
- Monitor and report on market trends, risks and opportunities
- Travel regularly across the UK to meet customers, distributors and installers
About You
You will be a commercially driven sales professional with strong experience in engineering or manufacturing environments, ideally within:
- Emissions control
- ICE equipment
- Retrofit solutions
- Adjacent power, rail or marine markets
Experience working with distributors and installer networks would be advantageous.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development within engineering/manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ICE equipment and emissions-related markets
- Existing relationships with OEMs, distributors or retrofit partners (advantageous)
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to influence both internally and externally, with or without authority
- Comfortable operating independently in a remote-based role
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and holds a UK drivers license.
