Service Engineer – Overhead Cranes

We’re recruiting for a skilled Service Engineer to join a long-established business working on overhead crane systems across the UK. You’ll need solid electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, ideally with experience on drives, motors and gearboxes. You’ll be based near Shrewsbury and travel to customer sites, including some overnight stays and occasional international work. What we’re looking for: * Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background * Experience with overhead cranes or industrial lifting equipment preferred * Confident with diagnostics and fault finding * Comfortable working at height (IPAF preferred) * Willing to travel and attend call outs when required Package: * Up to £45K basic depending on experience * OTE £50K – £55K+ with Saturday and Sunday overtime * Company van provided * Monday to Friday working hours (early finish Fridays) * 20 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension after probation If you’re hands-on, safety-conscious and want a long-term role with varied work and good earning potential, apply now
