We are currently looking for Pipe fitters for screw fit work on a chilled water system. 12 – 16 weeks work doing pump skids and valve systems. Applicants must be fully qualified and hold a valid CSR / JIB-PMES Skill card. “`Duties“` – Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications – Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or power tools – Weld or solder pipes and fittings together – Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment – Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems – Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective installation of pipe systems – Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations “`Requirements“` – Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role – Proficient in welding, including various techniques such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding – Ability to build, plumb, and maintain pipe systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings – Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles – Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings – Knowledge of different types of pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing materials – Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade – Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
