We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and proficiency in Civil 3D to effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
You will need s background in running civils projects, hold a valid SMSTS, first aid and Black CSCS card. This is a seven month contract beginning in Mid–July.
Duties
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and incident logs.
- Facilitate communication between the project team and upper management regarding project status and challenges.
- Implement best practices in site management to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software for effective project planning and execution.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction sector.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred but not essential.
