Setting Out Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Setting Out Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately translating design plans into physical markers on-site, ensuring precise positioning of structures in accordance with project specifications. Responsibilities Interpret and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to determine setting out requirements. Use specialised surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS systems, to mark out positions on-site. Ensure all setting out activities comply with health and safety regulations and project standards. Collaborate closely with project managers, surveyors, and construction teams to coordinate activities. Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy of setting out points throughout the construction process. Maintain detailed records of measurements, adjustments, and modifications made during setting out operations.
