We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager / Non-Working Supervisor to oversee a major electrical infrastructure package on a prestigious new Technology Institute development in Oxford. The project involves the installation and termination of several thousand metres of SWA sub-main cabling, ranging from 4 Core 25mm to 4 Core 240mm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations and electrical installation teams.
- Oversee SWA cable installation works and ensure delivery to programme.
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance.
- Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and site inspections.
- Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management or non-working electrical supervision.
- Strong background in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
- Experience managing SWA cable and sub-main infrastructure projects.
- SMSTS preferred.
- ECS/CSCS card required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage works within a live construction environment.
Package
- Approx. 5-month contract.
