An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the North West's most established Facilities Management contractors as they launch and grow a new Passive Fire division. Already delivering nationwide FM services across social housing, healthcare, education, prisons, commercial and public sector estates, the business has secured long-term client relationships that present significant opportunities to grow its fire compliance offering.
This is not simply an Operations Manager role. This is an opportunity to build and lead a new business unit with the backing of an established national contractor. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for developing the Passive Fire division, managing operational delivery, recruiting and building your own team, developing client relationships and helping shape the long-term strategy for the department. Initially based from the Warrington office (approximately three days per week), the role will develop into a national leadership position as the division grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Passive Fire and Fire Door projects nationwide
- Build and recruit your own operational team
- Develop relationships with existing and new clients
- Manage subcontractors and directly employed labour
- Drive operational performance, quality and compliance
- Support business growth across public and private sector frameworks
We're looking for someone with
- Proven Operations Management experience within Passive Fire
- Strong knowledge of Fire Doors and Fire Compliance
- Experience delivering PPM and Reactive FM contracts
- Existing industry contacts and supplier relationships
- Commercial awareness and leadership capability
- Ambition to build and grow a business unit
