We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician for a job at Salisbury Hospital installing LED lighting. Applicants must hold a valid JIB Gold card.DutiesInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power toolsConduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performanceRead and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals accuratelyEnsure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standardsDiagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions promptlyMaintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for documentation purposesCollaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects safely and on scheduleRequirementsProven experience working with electrical systems in commercial or industrial settingsProficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and sawsStrong electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematicsKnowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulationsAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detailValid electricians license or certification as required by local regulations is preferredJoin us to bring your electrical expertise into a vibrant environment where your skills will make a real impact!
