The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 Β£ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Demolition Contracts Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of demolition projects from pre-start through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Contracts Manager with a strong background in demolition, deconstruction and site operations who can confidently manage multiple projects, lead site teams and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

As Demolition Contracts Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of demolition projects and act as a key link between clients, site teams, subcontractors and senior management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing demolition contracts from pre-construction through to final handover
  • Overseeing multiple sites and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably
  • Reviewing programmes, RAMS, demolition methodologies and project documentation
  • Managing Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project costs, variations, labour, plant and overall commercial performance
  • Attending client, progress and pre-start meetings
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, current legislation and industry best practice
  • Working closely with Health & Safety teams to maintain the highest standards across all projects
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues before they impact programme or cost
  • Supporting tender handovers and ensuring a smooth transition from estimating/pre-construction into delivery
  • Providing regular project and commercial updates to senior management

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within the demolition industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of demolition methods, sequencing and site operations
  • Experience managing complex and/or high-value demolition projects
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and variations
  • The ability to manage multiple contracts and site teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership and client-management skills
  • A proactive approach to programme, risk and problem solving
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualifications such as CCDO, SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH or equivalent industry qualifications would be advantageous.
