Roofers / Slaters Required
Location: Bristol, BS1 (near Temple Meads)
Start Date: Monday 26th October 2026
Duration: Approximately 2 week
Vacancies: 3-4 Roofers
Hexa Services are recruiting 3-4 experienced Roofers / Slaters for a commercial solar PV installation project in central Bristol.
The work involves fitting retrofit roof hooks to an existing slate roof, followed by installing mounting rails and solar panels.
Previous experience working with slate roofs is. Previous solar PV installation experience is beneficial but not essential, as guidance will be provided on site.
Duties
- Working safely on an existing slate roof
- Lifting, adjusting and reinstating slates as required
- Installing retrofit roof hooks and associated fixings
- Assisting with installation of solar mounting rails and panels
- Ensuring roofing work is completed safely and to a good standard
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer / Slater
- Confident xiskglj working with slate roofs
- Valid CSCS card
- Full PPE
- Available to start Monday 26th October
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
We are particularly interested in existing teams of 3-4 roofers who have worked together previously, although individual applications are also welcome.
