We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for an immediate start on a contract basis for a project in the Guildford area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise mechanical installation teams on site.
- Coordinate daily work activities and ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with project specifications.
- Compile and manage mechanical test packs for commissioning and handover.
- Liaise with QA/QC personnel, engineers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Manage inspections, testing activities, and close-out documentation.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial, industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installations and commissioning processes.
- Experience compiling and managing test packs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- SSSTS/SMSTS Relevant mechanical qualifications.
