We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical components. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring minimal downtime in operations.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure comprehensive facility upkeep.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks.

Schedule

Full time role (approx. 40 hours a week) for at least 3 months ideally on shift rotation:

  • Week 1 = 6am - 2pm
  • Week 2 = 2pm - 10pm
