The Role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of UK-wide shopfitting and bespoke joinery projects, managing the process from initial enquiry through to tender submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
  • Produce accurate take-offs and bills of quantities.
  • Obtain, analyse, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Price shopfitting, bespoke joinery, and manufacturing packages.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
  • Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and the manufacturing department to ensure accurate and competitive tenders.

About You

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous estimating experience within shopfitting, joinery, or interior fit-out.
  • A strong understanding of bespoke joinery and manufacturing processes.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.
