About the Role

We are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer (Junior/Intermediate) to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Hull. This is a permanent role working on a variety of commercial and built environment projects, designing electrical building services solutions from concept through to completion. You will be part of a friendly, supportive team and work closely with senior engineers and clients, contributing to high quality design outputs.

What You Will Do:

  • Produce electrical design documentation for building services projects
  • Use industry standard software such as AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM desirable
  • Apply UK standards (BS 7671, BS 5266, BS 5839) in electrical design work
  • Support project delivery through technical input, calculations and reviews
  • Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and clients

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3-6 years experience in electrical building services design
  • Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience using AutoCAD (Revit/BIM beneficial)
  • Knowledge of UK electrical standards and regulations
  • Working towards IEng or open to starting this pathway
