We are recruiting an experienced Flooring Fitter / Floor Layer for a well-established commercial flooring contractor covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This is a permanent position offering a basic salary around £35,000, with experienced fitters realistically earning £40,000-£50,000+ through overtime, enhanced rates and price work.
The work:
- You'll be working across social housing, schools, healthcare and commercial/public buildings, installing:
- Safety flooring & vinyl
- Cap & cove
- Internal & external mitres
- Carpet & carpet tiles
- LVT and other floor finishes
What we're looking for:
- Solid commercial flooring experience, particularly vinyl/safety flooring and cap & cove
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience working in social housing, schools, healthcare or other occupied environments would be an advantage
