Hexa operates in the construction, civils, mechanical and electrical markets. We are currently recruiting for a Lead Pipefitter / Chargehand to manage pipework installation works in Leith, Edinburgh.
Rates, Hours, Duration:
- £270 /day
- 8 hours per day
- 10 weeks from 09/02/2026
The Role:
- Lead Pipefitter / Chargehand responsible for overseeing carbon steel pipework installation.
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Ensuring safe use of lifting accessories and basic lifting equipment.
- Potential for additional works beyond the initial contract duration.
Requirements:
- CSCS card.
- Significant experience installing carbon steel pipework.
- Abrasive Wheels certificate (preferred).
- IPAF and/or PASMA (preferred).
- First Aid and Hot Works / Fire Watch awareness (preferred not essential).
