The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer with a passion for structural engineering to join our team. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including:

  • Design, assessment and checking of bridges and civil structures
  • Temporary works engineering
  • Geotechnical investigation specifications and reporting
  • Technical analysis and design documentation

This role offers hands‑on project involvement, exposure to diverse engineering challenges, and clear progression towards Chartership.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • 1st Class or 2:1 level accredited Masters level degree in Civil Engineering
  • Around 2+ years’ experience in structural or bridge engineering
  • Solid understanding of structural behaviour and analysis
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach

Desirable

  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status (MICE or MIStructE)
  • Experience with UK design standards
  • Willingness to travel for occasional UK or overseas assignments
