The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer with a passion for structural engineering to join our team. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including:
- Design, assessment and checking of bridges and civil structures
- Temporary works engineering
- Geotechnical investigation specifications and reporting
- Technical analysis and design documentation
This role offers hands‑on project involvement, exposure to diverse engineering challenges, and clear progression towards Chartership.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 1st Class or 2:1 level accredited Masters level degree in Civil Engineering
- Around 2+ years’ experience in structural or bridge engineering
- Solid understanding of structural behaviour and analysis
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach
Desirable
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status (MICE or MIStructE)
- Experience with UK design standards
- Willingness to travel for occasional UK or overseas assignments
