About Us
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so they can turn insights into outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today’s complex world. Our culture thrives on finding new and better ways to accelerate what’s next. We know varied backgrounds are valued and succeed here. We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We make bold moves, together, and are a force for good. If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you.
Great technology needs proof. In this role you’ll turn real customer wins into stories, speakers, and references that help Sales and Marketing build trust, accelerate deals, and win in-market. You’ll be the person who connects customers, sellers, and marketing at the perfect moment, without burning out advocates or losing momentum.
What You’ll Do
- Tell stories that help HPE win — Write short, sharp internal win stories (with AI support) based on Sales interviews: customer challenge → solution → outcomes → why HPE won
- Turn these customer stories into reference engagements: case studies, blogs, videos, speaking opportunities.
- Enable Sales with the right customer references — Match sales teams with relevant customer advocates for RFx and meetings.
- Keep customer profiles updated in our reference database.
- Run advocacy programs end-to-end — Own day-to-day operations of the Customer Advocacy engine: intake, prioritization, approvals, tracking, reporting.
- Plan and execute Peer-to-Peer programs at 2 major events/year (1:1 meetings + roundtables) by connecting advocates with prospective customers in the form of roundtables or 1:1 meetings.
- Present to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Be the go-to partner for customer participation requests: events, content, media, speaking, analyst relations.
- Coordinate briefs, approvals, logistics, and outcomes with internal stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
- Sales gets the right reference at the right time (and comes back for more).
- Advocacy feels organized, scalable, and “easy to work with”.
- Customers feel proud, not used.
- Win stories land fast and support GTM priorities.
What We’re Looking For
Must-have
- Strong writing and communication skills in English (you enjoy writing, not fear it).
- Confident relationship builder (you enjoy calling Sales + customers + internal teams).
- Project management mindset: structured, reliable, follow-through.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Good understanding of marketing basics and how stories drive trust and pipeline.
- Comfortable with tools like Salesforce, MS Office (and learning quickly).
- Ability to travel, at least twice a year.
Ideal / nice-to-have
- Background or strong interest in IT / infrastructure / cloud / data / virtualization.
- Experience in B2B marketing, customer marketing, references, or advocacy.
- Calm under pressure + great at prioritizing.
Personal style we love
- Positive energy, “can-do” attitude.
- Proactive (you don’t wait to be asked).
- Curious, friendly, and professional.
- Comfortable using AI to move faster and write better.
Why you might love this role
- High visibility work - your stories and references show up in real deals.
- Lots of autonomy: you own the engine, not just tasks.
- Strong stakeholder exposure (Sales leaders, country marketing, WW teams).
- A role where being organized and human with customers is a real skill - not a nice-to-have.
- Travelling twice a year to Las Vegas and Barcelona.
What We Can Offer You
- Health & Wellbeing: We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
- Personal & Professional Development: We also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are. We have specific programs catered to helping you reach any career goals you have — whether you want to become a knowledge expert in your field or apply your skills to another division.
- Unconditional Inclusion: We are unconditionally inclusive in the way we work and celebrate individual uniqueness. We know varied backgrounds are valued and succeed here. We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We make bold moves, together, and are a force for good.
