We are looking for an experienced Front End Web Developer to join our engineering team in Cambridge. You will be working on the Controller - a web application which manages and reports on our security products. The controller also collects, aggregates, and reports on threat telemetry which HP are in a unique position to collect. You will be at the forefront of cyber research and intelligence, and you will be trusted to suggest and investigate then deliver new ideas.
What you will do as Front End Web Developer:
- Design and build new user interfaces, as well as maintaining existing ones (ES6, Vue.js, Webpack, D3, Sass)
- Maintain and improve the test infrastructure (Jest, Vue.js)
- Maintain and improve the build systems (Webpack)
- Collaborate with back end developers to steer API design

Technical requirements for the Front End Web Developer:
- HTML, CSS, JS
- React
- Webpack, Esbuild (or other JS compilers)
- Scss
- Package managers like yarn or npm
- ESM in Javascript
A great Front End Web Developer will have:
- Experience with long-lived, large-scale front-end projects
- TypeScript
- VueJS
- NextJS
- Creating and publishing custom NPM packages
- Jenkins Pipelines (or similar)
- Python / Django
- AWS
- Knowledge of how to write code in an accessibility friendly way
- Knowledge of web security issues and how to design to avoid them
