We are growing the R&D team in Cambridge, UK and we're looking for an experienced software developer to join the HP Wolf Security R&D team. You will be designing and developing our innovative security solution based on micro-virtualization and contributing to new features and products.
We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with a background in Browser technologies and C++ development. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a collaborative, hands-on and experienced software developer to join a small but growing team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities. You'll work flexible hours on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:- Developing and maintaining core features of our secure browsing products
- TypeScript and C++ development of a web extension
- C++ development on a Chromium based secure browser
- JavaScript and C++ development of a Firefox based secure browser
- Python development of automation and test components
- Proficient in C++ design, coding, debugging, and testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
A great Senior Software Engineer will have exposure to the following:
- Web extension development
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- Firefox Gecko code base
- Chromium code base
