This role is designed as “Hybrid” with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage end-to-end International PR for ~30 markets, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of PR initiatives, operational excellence, and measured impact.
  • Oversee processes, governance, and budget management to ensure efficient programme execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in ways of working, tools, and planning frameworks.
  • Lead International PR delivery for major global events (e.g. Discover) and act as PMO lead for regional events (e.g. Discover Barcelona), including planning, governance, and budget oversight.
  • Partner with regional PR leads to support local event execution (e.g. customer site visits, media engagements).
  • Drive the International customer storytelling engine to increase volume and impact of customer-led PR; own execution for UKIMEA and scale best practices globally.
  • Lead regular reporting and performance evaluation across International PR activity; oversee coverage tracking and analysis (e.g. Meltwater, Point600); deliver quarterly reporting and insights with recommendations to improve impact and ROI.
  • Act as a key partner to International PR leads and the UKIMEA Communications team; support delivery of PR activities including articles, bylines, and campaigns as required.
  • Drive quarterly PR planning, consolidate market activity, and align with the Global Communications calendar; maintain central planning tools (e.g. master WIP trackers).
  • Manage international media and analyst engagement processes for major events (invitation lists, agency coordination); oversee event budgets and financial processes (including transaction management and reconciliation).
  • Mentor and support the International PR intern with guidance on planning, reporting, and programme execution.

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of experience in PR, AR or related marketing/communications disciplines.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Superior writing and editing skills; strong oral communications and ability to think on feet.
  • Demonstrated storytelling ability to translate complex concepts into audience-resonating messages.
  • Strong organization and program management skills; ability to link PR/AR plans to business results.
  • Analytical capabilities (measurement, ROI) and comfort as a company spokesperson.
  • Fluency in English; high tact and diplomacy; agency and budget management; consultative skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company, from staff to senior leadership.
