We’re looking for a Digital Performance Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive performance strategy across a portfolio of digital marketing accounts. This is a client‑facing role focused on helping businesses grow through data‑led digital marketing. You’ll work closely with our performance specialists to translate client objectives into effective digital performance strategies across paid media channels. You’ll act as the strategic bridge between client goals and campaign delivery, ensuring clients feel proactively guided while enabling our performance specialists to focus on optimisation and performance improvement. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, thinking strategically about performance marketing and identifying opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of digital performance clients
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted strategic partner
    • Lead client meetings including biweekly/monthly performance reviews and planning sessions
    • Ensure communication is proactive, structured and commercially focused
  • Performance Strategy
    • Translate client business objectives into clear digital performance goals
    • Develop account growth plans and testing roadmaps in collaboration with performance specialists
    • Ensure campaigns are aligned to agreed objectives, priorities and budgets
    • Present strategy and performance insights clearly to clients
  • Collaboration with Performance Specialists
    • Work closely with performance specialists to develop tactical strategies
    • Provide clear context around client goals, priorities and commercial constraints
    • Ensure performance specialists receive clear briefs and direction for campaign activity
    • Encourage the team to surface new ideas, testing opportunities and platform innovations
  • Account Growth & Commercial Development
    • Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts through new initiatives, budget growth or additional services
    • Work with leadership to convert growth opportunities into new work
    • Contribute to revenue growth through proactive account development
  • Client Retention & Account Health
    • Monitor the health and engagement of client accounts
    • Identify potential risks early and work with leadership to address them
    • Ensure clients feel supported, informed and confident in the direction of their campaigns
  • Reporting & Performance Insights
    • Lead the presentation of campaign performance reports
    • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations
    • Communicate performance trends, opportunities and next steps
  • Internal Coordination
    • Act as the first point of contact for most client questions and requests
    • Consolidate client requests before sharing with the performance team
    • Ensure performance specialists can focus on optimisation and performance improvement rather than reactive client communication
  • Innovation & Performance Improvement
    • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and how they are shaping the digital marketing landscape
    • Understand the potential value of new tools and technologies for both agency operations and client performance
    • Work with internal teams to identify opportunities where automation or AI‑driven solutions could improve efficiency, insight or campaign performance
    • Help communicate the value and potential of new technologies to clients where appropriate, ensuring innovations are aligned with their business goals
    • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement as the agency explores new ways to enhance performance and efficiency

About You

We’re looking for someone who is both commercially minded and strategically curious. You’ll likely have experience managing performance marketing clients in an agency environment and be comfortable discussing campaign performance and strategy. You should be someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while working closely with technical specialists to deliver measurable results.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing performance marketing accounts in an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of digital performance channels, such as but not limited to Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn
  • Confidence presenting performance insights and strategy to clients
  • Ability to translate client objectives into clear marketing priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts

Hands‑on campaign execution experience is beneficial but not essential. This role focuses on client strategy and performance leadership rather than day‑to‑day campaign management.
