We are currently recruiting Packers to work on busy press machines in a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term, stable work with a growing employer during an exciting period of expansion and relocation.

The Role

As a Press Operative Packer, you will be working in a fast‑paced steel manufacturing environment, supporting production and maintaining high‑quality standards. Packer key responsibilities include:

  • Operating press machinery and production equipment
  • Packing product at a fast pace
  • Feeding materials into machines and monitoring output
  • Handling, inspecting and packing finished steel components
  • Maintaining quality and production targets
  • Working effectively as part of a busy manufacturing team
  • Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable and motivated individuals with experience in manufacturing or production environments. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience as a Press Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operative or Factory Worker
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven packing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination
  • A reliable work ethic and excellent attendance
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
